I also know you told= me the carpet was clean prior to move in, but we did notice a pretty heavy d= og order upstairs especially in the master bedroom. We did end up renting a c= arpet machine this weekend and pulled out a substantial amount of dirt and smell from the upstairs carpet.= I ran this over the loft and master bedroom five times. This seems to have h= elped reduce the dog smell quite a bit but it is still noticeable. I will mo= st likely wait a month to see how the smells settle and have them cleaned again as we were still pulling d= irty water from the carpet after the fifth time.

I also included a pi= cture of a vent above the laundry room that may have been pushed back when w= alls were painted. Looks like the duct was pushed back into the attic space.=
